Kelpie Jerky

While Loch Ness is known for its monster, nearly every body of water in Scotland is said to be home to at least one Kelpie. A shapeshifting spirit of endless mischief, the Kelpie (each-uisge in Scottish Gaelic) often takes the form of a powerful black water horse inhabiting the darkest reaches of highlands lakes and rivers. If you’re walking along a lake shore and meet a lovely young woman with seaweed in her hair or a grizzled old man with horse hooves for feet, you’ve likely met your first Kelpie.

Both sweet and savory, our exotic Kelpie Jerky marries tender brisket with an authentic Teriyaki-fusion marinade. The intricate flavor shifts between soy sauce, ginger, garlic, smoke, and a touch of sweetness — no two bites are ever quite the same. All of our jerky is made in the U.S.A. We never add preservatives or MSG (in addition to the small amount naturally occurring in the Soy Sauce). The jerky is naturally high in protein, low in fat, and gluten free.
